5. Consent and choices
When you submit a quote request or contact us about service, we use the information you provide for the purposes reasonably connected to that request. If we want to use your information for a new purpose that requires additional consent, we will seek that consent where required. You may withdraw consent to optional uses, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We may share personal information with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate our business, communicate with you or provide the requested service. Our current technology providers may include Netlify for website hosting and forms, ImprovMX for email forwarding, Google/Gmail for email access, Resend for outgoing email delivery, and Meta for Facebook/Instagram lead forms and advertising. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property or the integrity of our services.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising technology
Our current website uses basic hosting and form functionality. As of the effective date above, we have not intentionally installed Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel on the website. Our hosting provider may still use essential technical mechanisms and server logs needed to deliver, secure and operate the site.
If we add analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking technologies later, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or consent mechanism required by applicable law.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, providing service, maintaining business or regulatory records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. When information is no longer reasonably required, we may securely delete or anonymize it, subject to applicable record-retention requirements.
9. Safeguards
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal information we handle. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
